This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 04, 2007:

I've replaced "watching TV" with "living." 

I own a TV right now, which I do watch occasionally for documentaries and programs I enjoy when I choose-- about 2-3 hours a week.  But I've gone for years (I think in all, it's about 7 years) where I either didn't have a TV at all or I had one and never watched it-- because I was too busy livin' and loving life.

What is creativity?

Living in alignment with your highest purpose...   Your creativity is that aspect of you that was made "in the image and likeness of God."  To not use it or to deny that part of you is to push away the most divine and holy aspect of yourself.

What is your relationship to your life story?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 17, 2007:

I've been writing it for a long time... not yet knowing how all the pieces fit together and not yet seeing the bigger patterns I was creating. Writing my life story with more awareness now feels completely different. I used to write about myself like I was on the outside looking in, like someone else I was observing. Now I'm actually in it, not just watching my life go by in front of my eyes like a passive observer. Now it's not a story designed to sound nice at a cocktail party or impress someone else-- it's just me living my life and me writing the story so I can remember the challenges and gifts that brought me to this moment.

When was the last time you stayed up all night?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 21, 2007:

It was some time in August 2006 and I was in India celebrating the birthday of a friend.  We stayed up all night dancing and celebrating and then at 6 a.m. got in a rented car for the LONG ride to the sufi shrine in Ajmer.  We got there in the afternoon, prayed, ate a nice dinner, and then drove back to Delhi.  I made it home at about 6:00 a.m. and went to a 7 a.m. yoga class before going home to shower and get into bed for the longest and best sleep ever! 

I haven't stayed up all night since...  I must've gotten it all out of my system after that 2-day marathon!
